Transfer Information

If you desire to transfer from the University of Utah, keep in mind the specific NCAA and Pac-12 Conference transfer regulations:

Permission to Contact
A student-athlete wishing to transfer into or out of an NCAA institution must be granted a release from the Compliance Office before permission is granted. Current student-athletes at the University of Utah should speak with their Head Coach to discuss obtaining a release through the Compliance Office. Any student-athlete denied a release for any reason is entitled to appeal the denial - see the Compliance Office for more information on the appeals process. As a general rule, releases to speak with other NCAA institutions are granted. However, a student-athlete that does not meet all NCAA, Pac-12 Conference, and University of Utah academic requirements may be denied a release until those requirements have been successfully completed.
