Utah falls to 4-1, 1-1 in the Pac-12.

Utah falls to 5-6 all-time against California and 1-5 at Cal. It was the first time Utah has played in Berkeley since joining the Pac-12 six years ago.

Utah went 4-for-5 in fourth down conversions, converting four straight before failing on a conversion on 4th-and-1 in the fourth quarter. The Utes are 9-for-10 in fourth down conversions this year.

California was held to its lowest offensive output this year with 362 yards. Cal came into the contest averaging 594.5 yards per game. The Golden Bears had 174 yards in the first quarter and were held to just 188 total the remaining three quarters. Utah held California to just 33 total yards in the second quarter, including just two rushing yards. Cal had 56 yards rushing total.

Utah had over 400 yards of total offense for the fourth time this year (442).

Troy Williams had his fourth 200-yard passing game this season, throwing for 266 yards (24-for-43, 0 INT, 0 TD). He completed four passes of 20+ yards (35, 30, 22, 21).
