 Joe Williams rushed for over 100 yards for the third time this season (fifth time in his career) with 172 yards on 35 carries. He had his team-leading sixth rushing touchdown of the year in the second quarter. Williams is averaging 227.7 yards per game since un-retiring (three games).
 Troy Williams went 14-for-31 passing for 163 yards and two touchdowns (0 INT) against his former team (Williams played at Washington in 2014).
 Tim Patrick led Utah in receiving with five catches for 72 yards.
 Evan Moeai caught his first touchdown pass of the season for a 24-yard score in the fourth quarter. He had four catches for 61 yards.
 Siaosi Wilson recorded his first career touchdown catch, a six-yard reception in the third quarter. Wilson had two catches for 14 yards.
 Chase Hansen had his second interception this season and in his career in the second quarter. Hansen led Utah in tackles with nine, which tied his season high.
 Jordan Fogal was second on the team with seven tackles, tying his career high.
 Andy Phillips made a 29-yard field goal and improves to 14-for-17 in field goals for the year.
 Mitch Wishnowsky averaged 53.7 yards on six punts, which ranks as the fourth-best punt average in a game at Utah. Wishnowsky downed four of his six punts inside the 20-yard line, including two inside the 10-yard line (7 and 8-yard lines) and five of his six punts were 50+ yards.

Attendance of 47,801 is the second-largest in school history. The Utes have sold out 43-straight games in Rice-Eccles Stadium since the 2010 opener. Of those sellouts, 40 have been standing room-only crowds.
