SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah women's tennis team announced the signing of
Whitney Turley to a National Letter of Intent, head coach
Mat Iandolo announced Friday.
Turley will join the Utes for the spring 2017 season after completing her high school career.
Turley comes to the Utes from Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah. Turley is expected to make an immediate impact for the Utes as a two-time state champion in singles competition and a top five competitor in the intermountain region.
"Whitney is one of the best doubles players in the country," head coach
Mat Iandolo said. "We look forward to her having an impact as a freshman."
Turley should feel at home with sister
Brianna Turley who will be a junior when Whitney joins the program.
