SQUAW VALLEY, Calif. - Mark Engel led the Utah ski team with a sixth-place finish in the men's slalom at the U.S. Alpine Championships.

Engel was 11th in Friday's men's giant slalom, while finishing second in a FIS GS race on Wednesday. Engel was the 2014 NCAA men's giant slalom national champion.

Andy Trow finished 15th in the race while Joergen Brath did not finish his first run.

For the women, Kristiina Rove was 10th in the slalom. Jaime Dupratt finished 28th. Lauren Samuels did not finish her first run, while Chloe Fausa did not race her second run.
