Utah Hosts New Mexico

The Utes return home to host New Mexico, Fri., Jan. 16 at 6:00 p.m. The meet will be held in Ute Natatorium.

Recent Results

The Utah men's and women's diving team toured Washington last weekend, with each bringing home a win and a loss. Against Washington, the Ute men were defeated 129-76 while the women lost 121-75. Versus Puget Sound, the men won 120-68 and the women won 67-27. The Ute women also competed with Oregon State in a tri-meet format with UPS. The Utes lost to the Beavers 54-41.

Ute Notes

Molly Lauber won both the 50 free and 200 breast against Puget Sound and Oregon State. She also recorded a first-place finish in the 50 free and was second in the 200 breast against Washington. Lisa Ripken placed second in both the 1000 and 500 freestyle at Washington and won the 400 and 800 free versus UPS and OSU.

For the men, Johan Nystrom won the 100 and 200 free vs. Washington and the 200 IM and 100 free against Puget Sound. Matt Chamberlain won the 200 free (UPS) and placed second in the 200 fly and third in the 200 IM (Wash.)
