The Hailey, Idaho native Lowry competed for the University of Denver, where she was one of the most accomplished swimmers in the history of the SBC. Lowry earned a bachelor's degree in management from the University of Denver in 2009, and earned her master's degree in higher education from North Texas in May 2012.
