Corvallis, Ore. - The Utah Women's Swimming and Diving team put together several impressive performances earlier today, but fell to Oregon State, 147.5-114.5, and UCLA, 176-81, at Stevens Natatorium.

Traycie Swartz continued her win streak as she topped the 100 back (55.23) and the 100 free (50.48). Swartz took second in the 50 free (23.67), touching in just .11 seconds behind UCLA's Cynthia Fascella.

Also bringing in a win, Samantha Zuch fought for the top spot in the 500 free (4:59.41), while also taking second in the 100 breast (1:05.41).

The 200 free relay team of Zuch, Hannah Caron, Danielle Caldwell and Maddie Jamora brought in a win with a time of 1:37.58. Swartz, Zuch, Caron and Caldwell also earned points by taking the runner-up spot in the 200 medley relay.

Caron touched in third place in the 200 free (1:52.98), while Kayla Buck brought home fourth for the Utes in the 1000 free (10:27.93) and fifth in the 200 breast (2:26.77). Melissa Paakh closely followed Buck in the 200 breast with a time of 2:27.42, placing her in sixth.

Ute freshman LeighAnne Oliver took sixth in the 1000 free (10:32.11) as Caldwell also grabbed a sixth-place in the 200 back (2:08.09).

The Utes go head-to-head with BYU in the Deseret First Duel on Fri., Jan. 27 in Provo at 6 p.m.
