SALT LAKE CITY- Utah Swimming and Diving heads to Columbia, Missouri to compete in the Missouri Invitational, November 21-23 at the Mizzou Aquatic Center. The Utes will be competing against West Virginia, St. Louis, Florida International, UC Davis, Northern Colorado, Arkansas, Southern Illinois, Nebraska, Texas A&M (diving only) as well as host Missouri.

The meet will span over the weekend with preliminary sessions beginning at 10 a.m. CT daily and finals sessions scheduled to start at 6 p.m. CT.

Last Time Out

The Ute men defeated the 18th-ranked UNLV Rebels 166-134 and the Ute women won 195-105.

Taking wins on the women's side were Traycie Swartz in the 100 back (57.04) and the 50 free (23.97), Amanda Barrett in the 1000 yard free (10:28.84) and 200 back (2:04.09), Stina Colleou in the 100 breast (1:04.48), Samantha Zuch in the 500 free (5:02.93), and Giuliana Gigliottiin the 100 free (52.56).

On the men's side winners were Bence Kiraly in the 1,000 free (9:16.69) and in the 500 free (4:39.22), Nick Soedel in the 200 free (1:39.56) and the 100 free (44.72), Kristian Kron in the 200 back (1:47.30), and Dave Fraser in the 100 fly (50.16). The women divers took top three spots in the 1-meter dives with Kersten Merry(293.55) taking first. They also took the top three spots in the 3-meter dives as well with Merry leading (290.93).

The men divers also took the top three spots in the 1-meter dives with Josiah Purss (365.25) leading. They also took the three top spots in the 3-meter dives leading with Jacob Crayne(357.90).

Next Time Out

The Utes will head to Knoxville, Tennessee to compete in the USA Short Course Nationals on December 5-7.
