Kron has the 16th-best time nationally in the 400 IM (3:48.78) while his time of 1:44.05 in the 200 back is 19th in the NCAA. For the women, Swartz has times in the top 25 in both the 50 free (22.57) and the 100 free (49.04).

Utah has also been strong this season in the men's relays, with the 800 free relay team of Kron, Soedel, Kiraly and Holmstroem achieving the sixth-best time in the NCAA (6:27.65). Utah's time of 2:55.92 in the 400 free relay, swum by Holmstroem, Tiltges, Fernandes and Soedel, stands 13th in the NCAA this year.
