Suzie Vozarova has 2,731 points after first day at Robison Invitational.

PROVO, Utah- Competing in her first ever heptathlon, freshman Suzie Vozarova is in second place following the first day of action at the BYU Robison Invitational.
“Overall Suzie is doing really well,” Utah Associate Head Coach Burke Bockman said. “She handled herself very well and got off to a good start.”
After the first four events of the heptathlon, Vozarova is the top collegiate athlete and second place overall with 2,731 points.
Vozarova got things off to a quick start in the 100m hurdles clocking a third-place time of 15.95 seconds. She followed that performance with a fourth place effort in the high jump clearing the mark of 5-2.25 feet.
The third event of the day featured Vozarova posting a throw of 30-6.25 feet in the shot put for third. The final race of the day showcased her setting a personal record 200m time of 25.80 seconds finishing second.
Vozarova will return for the remaining heptathlon events on Thursday at 10 a.m. MST.
