Utah track and field announces 2013 schedule.

Nov. 8, 2012

SALT LAKE CITY- The University of Utah women’s track and field team has announced its 2013 schedule that features two home meets at McCarthey Family Track & Field.

“This schedule features a combination of outstanding competition and some of the best facilities in the country, including our own McCarthey Family Track and Field,” Utah head coach Kyle Kepler said.

“It features competition in 10 different states and includes two home outdoor meets. This schedule will provide our student-athletes with the best possible opportunities to qualify as many of them for the NCAA Championships as possible. We also believe that this schedule will allow our emerging student-athletes ample opportunities to grow and develop throughout the year.”

Utah fans will be treated to two home meets in April at the Utah Open (Apr. 6) and Utah Spring Classic (Apr. 12) at the McCarthey Family Track and Field.

The 2013 indoor season will get underway on Jan. 11 at the BYU Invitational in Provo, Utah.
