Utah Baseball Sweeps Kansas With 13-Inning, 7-6 Victory

2012: Made 16 appearances with 15 starts ... spent most of the year as the Friday starter before moving to Saturday for the final five weeks of the season ... 3-10 with a 6.01 ERA ... 70 1/3 innings pitched ... part of all three of Utah's shutouts ... allowed one run and seven hits over six innings with three strikeouts against UC Davis in the win (2/18) ... pitched seven scoreless innings in win against UAB, allowing three hits, walking just one, and striking out four (3/2) ... six scoreless innings vs. USC in a 1-0 pitchers duel, striking out seven and allowing just three hits in a no-decision (3/16) ... two runs allowed with seven strikeouts over six innings against Oregon (3/23) ... pitched 5 1/3 shutout innings against Washington, striking out two in the win (4/28) ... two runs and five hits allowed with three strikeouts over six innings pitched vs. Oregon State in a no-decision (5/12) ... second-team Pac-12 All-Academic team.
