C.J. Cron led Utah with two hits against TCU.

Similar to Friday's game, TCU jumped out early, taking a 4-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Matt Curry had a two-RBI double in the game while Jerome Pena also had a two-RBI single.
The Utes scored three runs in the second inning to cut the lead to 4-3. Cron led off the inning with a single, moving over to second on a fielder's choice by Devin Walker and an error. Gumeson cleared the bases by blasting one over the left field fence, a three-run shot to cut the TCU lead to 4-3.
TCU pulled ahead in the fourth and fifth innings, scoring three runs in each inning, taking a 10-3 lead. The Horned Frogs had four hits in the fourth inning, including RBI doubles by Bryan Holaday and Josh Elander. Brance Rivera hit a two-RBI home run to right field in the fifth.
The Utes added a run in the bottom of the sixth, a solo home run from Cron. The sophomore first baseman was 2-for-4 on the day.
Aaron Schultz capped the TCU scoring in the top of the ninth with a solo home run.
Rick Anton went four innings as Utah's starter on the mound, striking out six. He falls to 6-3 on the season. Zach Adams pitched three innings and had five strikeouts while Tyler Wagner pitched the final two innings and had three strikeouts.
Kyle Winkler pitched eight innings for TCU, raising his record to 7-0.
Utah and TCU play the final game of the series on Sunday, May 2, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Lindquist Field in Ogden.
