SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team travels to California for a four-game series against Saint Mary's, beginning on Friday, March 8, at 2:00 p.m. PT.

Utah is 5-5 through its first 10 games.

"I really like the way our team goes about its business," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "We play hard, and we play fast. There are some real intangibles there. We are still trying to settle on a lineup. We're getting healthy, but we're getting closer, so that is a relief. After 10 games, I feel like we have a chance to be pretty good. I'm looking forward to another week of practice and getting another four games under our belt before we hit conference."

The Utes will continue with the pitching rotation of Brock Duke, Tanner Banks and Joe Pond. Monday's starter is to be determined.

Saint Mary's is 4-8 on the year after falling on Monday to UC Santa Barbara. The Gaels have dropped their last four games after sweeping Chicago State two weekends ago.
