SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team continues this weekend at the UT Arlington Invitational, March 7-10. Utah starts the tournament against UT Arlington on Friday, March 7, at 3:00 p.m. CT, followed by Abilene Christian on Saturday, March 8, at 11:00 a.m. CT, and Missouri State on Sunday, March 9, at 11:00 a.m. CT. The Utes face UT Arlington a second time on Monday, March 10, at 1:00 p.m. CT.

Utah (5-6) plays five games this week, after taking on BYU on Tuesday.

"We play five games this week, so we have a lot of opportunities to continue getting better as we get closer to Pac-12 play against Oregon State next week," Kinneberg said. "This is a big week to get our pitching in line and continue to get as many at-bats as we can."

UT Arlington is 3-8 overall. Missouri State is 7-3 while Abilene Christian is 6-2.

The Utes are tied for the Pac-12 lead with four saves, and are first in the Pac-12 in runners picked off (five). Utah is third in the Pac-12 in stolen bases (13).

The tournament concludes four-straight weekends on the road. Utah hosts Oregon State for a three-game series beginning on Friday, March 14, for its home opener.
