SALT LAKE CITY -- The University of Utah baseball team wraps up its season series with Utah Valley State College Tuesday night in Orem. First pitch is slated for 7 p.m. at Wolverine Baseball Stadium.

Utah has taken three of five meetings with the Wolverines this season. But the home team has won all five of the previous meetings in 2007. UVSC defeated the Utes 18-1 and 10-4 in Orem. Utah won its home games with the Wolverines by tallies of 10-9, 15-1 and 17-1.

Utah is slated to send sophomore right-hander Brad DeVore to the mound Tuesday night. DeVore is 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA against Utah Valley this season. Overall, DeVore has a 1-1 record and a 5.45 earned-run average. UVSC will counter with Marcus Moore, who is 2-0 and has allowed just four runs in 17 innings against the Utes this season. Overall, Moore is 5-3 with a 2.90 ERA.

Utah is coming off a three-game sweep at the hands of the Mountain West Conference leaders -- the TCU Horned Frogs -- last weekend. The Utes are 21-25 overall and 9-9 in MWC play. Utah Valley swept a doubleheader from Northern Colorado Sunday in its last outing. The Wolverines are 21-27 overall.
