SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team closes out the 2013 campaign hosting a three-game series against top-10 ranked Oregon, beginning on Friday, May 24, at 6:00 p.m. The series continues on Saturday, May 25, at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 26, at 12:30 p.m.

The team will hold a post-game autograph session after each game. Wear black on Friday for `Black Friday' and receive free admission. Friday night is Youth Night, featuring face painters, a balloon artist, bounce house and train.

Friday will also feature a special presentation honoring Utah's senior class of Joe Pond, Chase Rezac, Tyler Relf and Connor Eppard.

Utah will start Mitch Watrous on the mound on Friday followed by Dalton Carroll on Saturday and Tanner Banks on Sunday.

Utah had its first series sweep of the season against Kansas over the weekend and looks to close out the year with a strong finish.

The Ducks are ranked as high as seventh in the nation by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. Oregon dropped two out of three over the weekend to in-state rival and top-five team Oregon State.

"It's a big weekend for us - we want to end the year and send the seniors out on a positive note," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "It's another chance to play a great team at home. It's also a big weekend for Oregon. They are trying to get a national seed and host a regional."
