Utah rising senior TJ Bennett was recently named to the Southern California Collegiate Baseball League All-Star game.
Bennett, who is playing with the Palm Springs Power, is averaging .354 with a team-high 35 RBI. He is tied for the team lead with 11 doubles. Bennett has a .472 slugging percentage and is 27-of-33 in stolen bases.
Earlier this season, Bennett was named the SCCBL Hitter of the Month for June.
Last season with the Utes, Bennett hit .236 with seven doubles, three triples and two home runs. He had a .357 slugging percentage.
