"This is the best class that I have ever had at Utah," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "We wanted to address our overall athleticism as well as our left-handed pitching, and we wanted to get as many good high school players as possible. Many of them will be drafted and will have a decision to make in June whether to go to school or to sign. Hopefully we will see them all put on a Utah uniform next year.
"My assistants Mike Crawford and Bryan Kinneberg worked extremely hard this summer and last summer, and their work has really paid off. Also, no doubt going into the Pac-12 has helped us get more interest from quality players."
