SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team has announced the signing of 10 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent.

Joining the Utes for the 2015 season are Jayson Rose (Granite Hills HS/Alpine, Calif.), Trenton Stoltz (Paradise Valley HS/Phoenix, Ariz.), Spencer Johnson (Northgate HS/Walnut Creek, Calif.), Patrick Flynn (Servite HS/Los Alamitos, Calif.), Neil Sterling (Serra HS/Half Moon Bay, Calif.), Armett Johnson (Crespi Carmelite HS/Lake View Terrace, Calif.), Andre Jackson (Cienega HS/Vail, Ariz.), Wade Gulden (Shasta HS/Redding, Calif.), Bowen Ogata (Bishop Kelly HS/Boise, Idaho) and Spencer Moran (Mountain View HS/Mesa Ariz.).

"We met our needs for next year and put a very good class together," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "The four pitchers that we've signed will be the foundation of our future. They are all quality arms and they will battle for a lot of innings next year. Offensively, we've added some punch as well as some speed. We now have to hope we can keep this class intact through the MLB draft.

"Assistant coaches Mike Crawford and Bryan Kinneberg did a great job putting this class together. They spent a lot of hours out evaluating players and this class is the result of their efforts.
