Flynn on why he chose Utah:
"The reason I selected Utah is because the great environment. It is the place that fits me best. The coaching staff made me feel comfortable and the decision was very easy. I look forward to playing for an incredible university and baseball program. All the players that I have met are outstanding individuals and easy to bond with, which I believe is going to lead the UTES down a road of great success."
Servite High School Coach Jeff Sears on Flynn:
"Patrick is one of the most genuine young men I have ever coached. He does things both on and off the field that will bring him much success way after baseball. Baseball comes easy to him since he has split his time between football and baseball. Once he becomes just a baseball player he will grow leaps and bounds through the extra reps. Hitting in the middle of our lineup as a junior and receiving all-league honorable mention, he will become one of the most feared hitters in Orange County. Having the numbers doesn't mean as much to him as having the wins. Like I said earlier he is a very special young man. He will be a great fit for the Utes."
