Gulden on why he chose Utah:
"I chose the University of Utah because the coaches, administrators, and current players immediately made my parents and I feel like a part of the Ute family from the minute we first stepped on campus. Everything just clicked. Plus, nothing beats the Pac-12!"
Shasta High School Coach Jim Morley on Gulden:
"Utah is getting a great kid. I have been the head coach for Shasta High School for over 20 years. Wade is definitely near the top or at the top of players I've had. He is a hard worker, dedicated, and a team leader for Shasta baseball. He is also a lot of fun in the dugout, with his great sense of humor. Last year I knew he was ready to play at the next level when he came to me during practice and asked for the ball for our biggest game of the year. Section Champs! I'm sure he will become a big part of Ute Baseball."
