-The game marked Utah's first-ever Pac-12 home game and first-ever Pac-12 victory.
-Senior guard Josh "Jiggy" Watkins hit a jumper to lift the Utes to a 62-60 victory, a near carbon-copy shot of his game-tying bucket with 18 seconds left in regulation, which forced overtime. He finished the game with a team-high 20 points, including four in overtime.
-It was Watkins' 10th career game with 20+ points and his fourth this season. He also tied his career-high of seven rebounds and added six assists, all in the second half.
-Junior guard Chris Hines returned to the starting lineup after sitting out at Colorado (thumb). He finished the game with eight points, his highest total since scoring 12 vs. Cal State Fullerton on Dec. 7. Hines hit several key shots, including a game-tying jumper in overtime to even the score at 60-60 and setting the Utes up for the win.
-Junior center Jason Washburn finished with 11 points, four rebounds and tied his season high with two blocks. Washburn has now scored double figures 10 times this season and 21 times in his career, including each of Utah's first two Pac-12 games.
-Junior wing Cedric Martin finished the game with career highs of eight rebounds and five assists to go with five points. He played a game-high 42 minutes, setting another career high as well. Martin tied his previous career high of four assists in the first half alone.
-Junior forward Dijon Farr scored 10 points, hitting double figures for the fourth time this season, before fouling out.
-Utah improves to 530-128 all-time at the Huntsman Center. The Utes are now 50-35 in overtime games, including a 23-10 mark at home. It was Utah's first overtime game since Feb. 13, 2010, a loss to New Mexico. The win marks Utah's first overtime win since Jan. 27, 2009, a 94-88 victory vs. BYU at home.
-Utah shot 50% in the first half (12-of-24) and held WSU to 40.9% (9-of-22), building a six-point halftime lead, 29-23. The Utes finished the game at 47.3% (26-of-55), including a 57.1% mark in overtime (4-of-7).
-Utah held Washington State to 40.9% (9-of-22) from the field in the first half. It was the fewest points scored by the Cougars in any first half this season and the second-lowest in any half.
