-Junior guard Josh Watkins scored a career and game-high 24 points on a career-best nine field goals (9-of-17) and a 5-of-7 effort at the free throw line. It was the fourth time this season that Watkins has led the Utes in scoring.

-J.J. O'Brien pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds, including four on the offensive glass, and tied his career best scoring output with six points. O'Brien became the only Ute other than Will Clyburn to collect double-digit rebounds this year.

-Junior wing Will Clyburn finished the game with 17 points and 10 rebounds, logging his fifth double-double of the year. Clyburn has scored double figures in all 16 games this year.

-Junior center David Foster grabbed six rebounds, his best effort on the glass since pulling down a season-high nine at boards at Hawaii, while handing out a career-high three assists, all in the first half. He also blocked two shots and made a steal.

-With two blocks in the game, Foster lifted his career blocks total to 165. Currently in second place all-time at Utah, Foster trails only Luke Nevill, who holds the career record with 205 rejections from 2005-09. Foster has now blocked at least one shot in 42 of his last 45 games over the last two years and has blocked multiple shots in 35 of those contests.

-Utah collected 40 rebounds, hitting the 40+ rebound mark for the third time this year.

-Utah has lost three consecutive games to San Diego State for the first time in school history and has lost back-to-back home games to the Aztecs for the first time.
