-Senior center David Foster recorded three blocks in the game to bring his season total to 81, extending his Mountain West Conference record for rejections by a sophomore. He has now blocked at least one shot in all 19 of his games this year and has multiple blocks in 17 of them.
-With 81 total blocks this year, Foster is 29 rejections ahead of the pace set by single-season record-holder, Luke Nevill, who had 52 blocks at this time in 2008-09. Nevill finished the year with 92 swatted shots, including the postseason. Foster is on pace for 124 blocks in the regular season alone.
-With his first made 3-pointer of the night, freshman guard Marshall Henderson set a new Utah freshman record for made 3-pointers in a season (44), surpassing Shaun Green's previous mark of 43 (2005-06). He finished the night 3-of-8 from long range, bringing his career total to 46 made 3's. Henderson is already the all-time Utah freshman leader in 3-point attempts (137).
-Junior guard Carlon Brown scored a career-high 31 points, going 9-of-15 from the field, including 3-of-6 from 3-point range, and 10-of-14 from the free throw line, also tying a career-high. His previous career-best scoring mark was 22 points on two occasions this year, vs. Utah State on Nov. 18 and vs. Seattle on Nov. 24.
-Three Utes finished in double figures: Brown (31), Henderson (13) and junior forward Jay Watkins (12).
-Foster and senior guard Luka Drca tied for a team-high seven rebounds.
-Utah has lost three of the last four games against Wyoming in Laramie.
-Wyoming's Adam Waddell snatched 22 rebounds to became the first player to record 15 or more rebounds against the Utes since J.R. Giddens of New Mexico had 28 on Feb. 23, 2008. No one else on the Cowboys had more than four boards.
