Utah Head Coach Larry Krystkowiak
"It was tremendous. We got off to a slow start and then the word `resilient' keeps popping into my head. We just kept battling and it was really solid defense all the way around. Just short of some rebounding lulls we did as nice of job defensively as I thought we did all year. And we made big shots when we needed to make them, it was great."

"When the have come few and far between, it feels awfully good. I still think there is a little gas left in our tank, and as I said a few weeks ago, I think we'd be tough out in the Pac-12 Tournament, depending on the seeding and how all that takes place. I wouldn't want to play us right now. If we finish 11th or whatever the case might be, I wouldn't want to be the sixth place team that faces us first because I think we are better than our position. We picked up the production quite a bit here in the second half of conference season.

"I think everybody makes improvements over the course of the year. That is one of those things that comes with the level of playing harder. Early in the year, a team would hit a three or two threes and you would see that we were pretty deflated and we didn't realize that it was over yet, that we could keep battling back. I think we have learned that lesson here enough that we just can't quit regardless of what you are doing. We just keep fighting to the end and it was really a great ending."

On Chris Hines and Jason Washburn
"They have been really good and I think they are providing us with some solid leadership...not really vocal kind of leaders. But when Chris Hines says something, it is pretty spot-on. He is not a guy that makes a lot of noise whereas Jason [Washburn] is more of a rah-rah guy. They are both leading by example, and are playing a lot of minutes. They are getting better. They are coachable and not making the same mistakes. It is a pretty good story for those guys."

Junior center Jason Washburn
On the win
"We were determined to get this win tonight. As a team I think we were tired of the `moral victories' and close losses, when people tell us we played really well and it was just a play here and there that kept us out of it. I think we showed a lot of resiliency and winning close games is a learning process. It takes a lot of poise and focus."

Junior guard Chris Hines
On the fans
"They have been here despite us losing. I think the fans really helped by being here. To win this has really helped us and I wanted to have this [win] for the fans."

On the game-winning three-point shot "We wanted to run a cross and it kind of got broken down. [Cedric Martin] had some pressure on him and the whole floor was going to the right side. I saw him coming back to the left side and my man sucked in just a tad bit. I got a little bit of room and a nice look. My feet were set. He was a tall guy and I knew I needed to get it high over his head. And that is the only thing I thought about."

Stanford Head Coach Johnny Dawkins
On the run where Utah took a first-half lead
"Give them credit first, I thought they defended during that period of time and got some stops. We didn't execute as well and turned it over too much on that same run."

On his team's offense
"It affects us on the offensive side of the ball. To not get points and then turn the ball over, it affects us. I thought we showed some maturity, we weren't hitting as well as we would have liked, but we tried to gut it out. We didn't have a great shooting night, but give them some credit."

On having a great game at Colorado, then losing tonight
"It is difficult to explain. I think it has to do with some inconsistency from younger players. It starts in the back court, to have a freshman and sophomore. They are going to have nights that are up and down. Our experience on the perimeter isn't there and at times it shows."

Thoughts on Utah's Jason Washburn
"He is a terrific player. I have been watching him on tape throughout the year. He is a quality player. I think he is one of the best players in our conference."
