Utah head coach Jim Boylen
"We played very well tonight. We played with a couple different styles. They are a very hard team to guard. You have to give them credit for that. I think it was the best offensive team we've played this year so far."
"We showed athleticism at all positions and had difficulty in the shots we took, I'm very proud of my guys for the game we played. I wasn't happy with our defensive field goal percentage but you have to give them credit for that."
"We are thankful for the win. I am very proud of my team. I've asked them to defend, rebound and run and I think we rebounded very well. We had good depth and balance. Kepkay was terrific, he made big shots."
Oregon head coach Ernie Kent
"They shot the ball extremely well tonight, if it was the hype of a PAC-10 team coming in here I don't know, but they were on fire tonight. Some of those things were right in their faces and they were making them."
"The ball came inside way too easy, we weren't fronting the posts. We didn't have pressure on the ball and that's where kind of our breakdowns, I felt, started along that way, because we were in pretty good shape starting out the game. That is where they made you pay every single time."
On the absence of Michael Dunigan:
"They [Utah]are a very good veteran basketball team, please don't take anything away from them. I thought that they were really smart in spreading the floor, every breakdown we had defensively for the most part they exploited, and shot the ball extremely well."
"Michael could have negated things inside and maybe put some pressure on Nevill to get him into foul trouble. If we had big Dunigan in there then obviously he could have helped on some of the drives and with the shot blocking, but Utah played extremely well. They are a very well coached team, they are a very smart basketball team. They looked really good on the offensive end of the boards."
