-Junior wing Cedric Martin was the game's leading scorer with a career-high 19 points on 6-of-10 from the field, including 5-of-9 from 3-point range. His 60% shooting, six total field goals, five 3-pointers, two blocked shots and 40 minutes played were all career-highs as well. Martin's previous career-high scoring output was 11 points against Montana State. This was his fourth double-figure game of the season.
-Junior forward Dijon Farr scored a career-high 16 points on a career-best seven field goals (7-of-11). He also made a career-high four steals, blocked a shot and had an assist. This was Farr's second game of the season in double digits, surpassing his previous career-high of 12 points at Boise State, exactly one month ago.
-Senior guard Josh "Jiggy" Watkins posted a season-high eight assists with only two turnovers and added a season-high three steals. Watkins scored just three points, snapping his double-figure scoring run of 14 consecutive games dating back to last year.
-Junior center Jason Washburn racked up 17 points on 4-of-5 from the field and a career-high 9-of-11 from the free throw line. He also added nine rebounds, missing his third double-double of the year by the narrowest of margins. It was his seventh double-figure scoring game of the year and his fifth in the last six games.
-Redshirt sophomore forward Javon Dawson tied his career-high of six points on 2-of-3 from the field and 2-of-4 at the free throw line. He also added three turnovers. As much as anything, it was Dawson's energy and hustle that sparked the Utes' second-half run.
-Watkins and freshman guard Kareem Storey (six assists, zero turnovers) combined for 14 of Utah's season-high 18 assists on the night. It was the second time this season that the two Utes each recorded five or more assists in the same game, with the only other time coming at Boise State, where Storey had seven and Watkins had five.
-Utah scored 22 points off turnovers while allowing ISU to score just eight off turnovers. It was the most points scored off turnovers by the Utes this year and their best margin (+16 off t/o) of the season.
-Trailing 46-42, a fast-break layup by Storey sparked a 22-7 run that gave the Utes a 13-point lead, their largest lead against any opponent this season. With two made free throws by Washburn, Utah tied the game at 48-48 for the first time since it was 5-5. Storey then hit a 3-pointer to give the Utes their first advantage since leading 7-5 early in the game, and they never trailed or were tied for the remainder of the game.
