The University of Utah Men's Basketball team finished their exhibition season with a 79-56 victory over the California All-Stars, Wednesday, Nov. 12 in the Huntsman Center. The Utes jumped out to a 13 -0 lead to start the game and were never headed after that. Senior center Michael Doleac led the way with 13 points, while freshman center Nate Althoff came off the bench to score 11. Freshman Trace Caton had a nice game going 3-4 from three-point range and scoring 9 points. The Utes played great defense holding the All-Stars to just .368 shooting from the floor. Former Arizona star Joe Blair led the All-Stars with 21 points and 11 rebounds. The Utes finish the exhibition season with a 2-0 record. They open the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 15 against Cal State Fullerton in the Huntsman Center.
