Last Time Out
Utah earned its second-straight win at home by knocking off Arizona State on Wednesday, 60-55. Jason Washburn matched his career-high with 26 points and was one rebound shy of his fifth double-double in Pac-12 play.

Jordan Loveridge chipped in 13 points and six rebounds for the Utes who shot 52 percent in the first half and out-scored Arizona State 17-4 at the free-throw line. The Utes led by double figures very early in the game and then rallied from an eight-point deficit in the final seven minutes of regulation

This was the first time in 11 tries that the Utes overcame a deficit in the final five minutes to win the game this season. Utah also set season-highs for free throws made and attempted in a conference game (17-of-23). In contrast, the Utes made a season-low 19 field goals on 42 attempts

Washburn Working Way Up Charts
Washburn has notched double-doubles in four conference games so far. He was averaging 14.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while shooting 57 percent from the field prior to Wednesday night.

He currently ranks seventh in the league in rebounding, sixth in field-goal percentage and fifth in blocks. He has also scored in double figures during 14 of the last 17 contests.

Washburn has scored 959 points in his 114 career games. He is currently averaging 12.0 points per game after scoring at a career-best clip of 11.4 points per contest last year.

The freshman poured in a career-best 24 points vs. Cal State Northridge and his points per game average ranks him fifth all-time for a Utah freshman, behind such greats as Keith Van Horn and Andrew Bogut.

Taylor Turning it Up
Brandon Taylor is coming off a weekend that saw him score a career-high 21 at Oregon State. Prior to that, the freshman had scored in double figures three games in a row (Washington, Stanford and Cal), averaging 14.0 ppg during that span.

Taylor led all scorers with a career-high 19 points and six assists in the win over the previously-unbeaten Huskies in Seattle. The freshman also led the team in steals as the Runnin’ Utes captured their first road win since joining the Pac-12.

He currently ranks second in the Pac-12 in three-point field goal percentage (.463) and has moved up among the league leaders in helpers with 2.9 per contest.

DuBois also ranks sixth in the league in three-point shooting percentage (.409) and leads the league in free-throw percentage (92.9).

Dynamic Dean
Glen Dean scored double digits in Utah’s first four games this season, and is currently averaging 6.6 points per game after scoring 10 vs. Cal two weeks ago.

It was his sixth double-digit outing of the season and first since Dec. 8 at BYU. Dean is one of the league leaders in three-point percentage (37.3).

Bachynski Beats Up Bengals
Sophomore Dallin Bachynski racked up 22 points and 16 rebounds against Idaho State for his second double-double in his first three games as a Ute.
