PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas - Happy Thanksgiving from the Utah men's basketball team! Following is an update on the team's first couple of days at the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament in the Bahamas. The team starts tournament play this evening against Harvard at 7:30 p.m. MT. Fans can watch the game live on HDNet and listen live on ESPN 700 AM as Steve Klauke and Jimmy Soto have the call. Live stats will be available on Gametracker and can be found here or at the tournament central website. An updated bracket throughout the tournament can also be found here.

After a long day of travel, the Utah men's basketball team arrived safely at the Atlantis Resort at Paradise Island, Bahamas, Tuesday night, for the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament. We arrived to a gracious welcome from the staff and quickly headed off to a late dinner, then got the team settled into the hotel to recover from the two-leg trip to the Caribbean Island nation, via Atlanta.

Wednesday morning, the players got up early for an off-site practice at the Sir Kendal Isaacs National Gymnasium. Following practice, the team headed back to the hotel for breakfast and a few hours of free time. Players and staff explored the resort before re-convening for lunch and then broke out for a little more free time.

Wednesday afternoon, Coach Krystkowiak and senior guard Josh "Jiggy" Watkins participated in a pre-tournament press conference before joining the rest of the team at the resort's Imperial Arena, where the tournament games will be played, for a shoot-around.

Wednesday night the Utes and the other seven participating teams were treated to a welcome reception held in a café near the hotel lobby, which featured a glass wall that looked into an underwater world with thousands of tropical fish and huge sting rays.

Thursday morning, the team slept in before heading to a late breakfast. The guys have a few hours of free time ahead of them before gathering back together for shoot-around, meetings and a pre-game meal.
