UTAH: All-conference candidate has started since his sophomore year ... moved to left tackle in the spring after two years as the starting right tackle.

2006-Honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference selection ... athletic tackle started and played in 11 games and did not allow a single sack ... in 10 regular season games (bowl stats were not kept), he was on the field for 644 plays--and average of 64.4 plays per game ... recorded 24 knockdowns, 12 cuts and 9 pancake blocks ... earned Utah's Offensive Player of the Game award after games against Utah State and San Diego State.

2005-Started in all 12 games at right tackle ... 916 total plays led the Ute offensive linemen ... ranked second in pancake blocks (10) and knockdowns (26) ... totaled 8 knockdowns and a 94% grade on 79 plays against Wyoming ... 4 knockdowns and an 85% grade in both the New Mexico and Arizona games ... 3 knockdowns and an 86% grade in 81 plays at BYU ... also started on the punt team.

PERSONAL: Son of Coley Boone and Sherry Peterson ... both parents attended BYU ... father played football for BYU ... from an athletic family of 10 children (five boys, five girls) ... brother Jesse was a three-year starter, team captain and all-conference center for Utah ... Jesse signed as a free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006 and now plays for NFL Europe's Rhein Fire ... brother Aaron was a standout wide receiver for Kentucky before stints with the NFL's Cowboys (2003), Bears (2004) and Panthers (2005). He was also an all-pro NFL Europe wide receiver with the Berlin Thunder, which won a World Bowl, and is currently signed with the AFL Utah Blaze ... sister Amy played basketball and volleyball at George Mason University and played semi-pro ball for the San Diego Waves of the NWBL ... enjoys hunting and camping ... economics major ... full name is Jason Rostenbach Boone ... born April 20, 1984.
