PRIOR TO UTAH: Played for Utah State in 2010 (as a true freshman) and 2011 ... recorded 14 tackles over 11 games with four starts in 2011, including two TFL and a half sack ... in 2010, he played in 10 games with one start, registering 15 tackles with a season-high five tackles against Nevada ... also forced a fumble and recorded a pass breakup against the Wolfpack ... 2009 Deseret News 5A honorable mention all-state defensive end for Pleasant Grove High (Utah) ...
