UTAH: Projected to start at nose tackle ... looking to capitalize on the first spring and fall training of his Ute career after joining the team two weeks into the 2006 season ... can also play end, although he is best suited to play tackle.

2006-Played in 10 games, starting three (two at end, one at tackle) ... joined the Utes two weeks into the season and played in his first game just one day after arriving on campus (vs. Utah State on Sept. 16) ... recorded a season-high 7 tackles, including 2.0 tackles for loss, against UNLV ... 4 solo tackles, a sack and a forced fumble at Wyoming.

PRIOR TO UTAH: 2004 first-team All-American by J.C Grid-Wire ... Super Prep JUCO 100 and JC Athletic Bureau all-California Region IV first team as a sophomore and junior at Fullerton College (2003-04) ... first-team all-conference and unanimous selection for 2004 Mission Conference National Division Player of the Year as voted on by the league's coaches ...
