Devontae Booker led Utah in rushing with 10 carries for 78 yards and two touchdowns, including a 38-yard run for a score. He also had Utah's longest reception of the day, a 61-yard catch to set up Utah's second touchdown of the game. Booker had 139 all-purpose yards.

Dres Anderson had 111 yards receiving (four catches) for his seventh career 100-yard receiving game, moving him into a tie for fourth all-time at Utah.

Eight different receivers caught passes. Westlee Tonga (five catches, 61 yards) and Kenneth Scott (four catches, 57 yards, one touchdown) both returned after missing last season with injuries.

On his first career punt return, Kaelin Clay scored on a 46-yard touchdown return. It was Utah's first punt return for a touchdown since 2010, when Shaky Smithson had three punt returns for touchdowns. Clay also scored Utah's first kickoff return since 2012 (last done by Reggie Dunn) in the third quarter, a 100-yard runback. It was the 12th 100-yard kickoff return in school history. The last person to score two touchdowns on returns in a game was Dunn in 2012, who had two kick returns for touchdowns against California. He is the first Pac-12 player to have a punt and kickoff return for a touchdown in a game since Cal's Deltha O'Neal accomplished the feat in 1999. Clay had 159 all-purpose yards, which also included two pass receptions.

Tom Hackett dropped a punt at the one-yard line in the second quarter and at the three-yard line in the third quarter. He has placed 12 punts inside the five-yard line in his career and 20 inside the 10-yard line. Hackett also had a 28-yard rush for a first down on a fake punt play.

Utah had four offensive plays of 30+ yards - Devontae Booker 38-yard rush (TD); Travis Wilson to Devontae Booker 61- yard reception; Wilson to Dres Anderson 37-yard reception; Wilson to Anderson 48-yard reception.

Nate Orchard tied for the team lead with eight tackles, including a team-high 2.5 sacks. Jared Norris also had eight tackles with 1.5 TFL. Lowell Lotulelei had 1.5 tackles for loss and forced a fumble.

Eric Rowe blocked a field goal in the second quarter, his first career blocked kick.

Dominique Hatfield played on both offense and defense.

Attendance of 45,925 is the fifth-largest at Utah, and the 26th-straight sellout at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Stadium capacity was increased by 790 seats during the offseason.
