Utah had just two first downs in the first half.

The last time Utah lost four conference games in a row was 2002, when Utah opened MWC play 0-4.

John White scored his team-best eighth touchdown of the season in the fourth quarter on a 14-yard rush. White led Utah in rushing with 39 yards on 15 carries.

Jon Hays threw for 148 yards (11-for-22). He had three interceptions. Hays falls to 1-2 as Utah's starting quarterback.

Griff Robles made his second appearance at quarterback this season. He also played quarterback against BYU.

Kenneth Scott led Utah in receiving with 39 yards on two catches.

Dexter Ransom made a career-long 35-yard reception.

Coleman Petersen made a 36-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. Petersen has made seven-straight field goals.

Mo Lee had a career-high eight tackles. He tied for the team lead with Chaz Walker, who also had eight tackles.

Trevor Reilly added to his team-high sack numbers with two first-half sacks. He has six sacks this season. Reilly also had a career-high seven tackles.

Sean Sellwood completed his first career pass on a fake punt for a first down. Defensive lineman Star Lotulelei made his first career reception on the play.

Sean Sellwood, who averaged 45.5 yards per punt on six punts, dropped two punts inside the 20-yard line with a long punt of 55 yards.

Reggie Dunn had a career-high 159 yards on six kick returns. He had a long return of 45 yards, his longest of the season.

Griff McNabb had three punt returns for a career-high 18 yards.
