Utah is bowl eligible for the ninth consecutive season, and the 10th time in the last 12 years. The Utes have qualified for a bowl game all seven years under head coach Kyle Whittingham.

The Utes got their second-straight win over UCLA, both coming at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Utah won those two games by a combined score of 75-12 (winning 31-6 tonight and 44-6 on Sept. 17, 2007).

Temperature at kickoff was 31 degrees, marking the second-coldest kickoff in Rice-Eccles Stadium history (since 1998). The coldest game was a 29-degree kickoff against BYU in 2010.

UCLA's six points was the lowest total by a Ute opponent this season.

Utah held an opponent without a touchdown for the first time since outscoring Colorado State, 59-6, on Oct. 23, 2010.

John White had 167 rushing yards (33 carries) for his sixth 100-yard rushing game of the season. Utah remains undefeated (6-0) when White rushes for over 100 yards. It was his fourth-highest rushing total this year.

John White has 1,191 rushing yards for the season, bringing him to fourth in the single-season record book.

John White had 33 carries, his third game with at least 30 carries this season. He now has 238 for the season, which ranks fifth in school history.

John White scored three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving). It was his second three-touchdown game of the season. He also scored three touchdowns against BYU.

John White scored two rushing touchdowns, giving him 12 rushing touchdowns for the season. His 12 rushing touchdowns is tied for the third-best mark in a season. The feat has also been reached by six other players.

Jon Hays threw for 67 yards (5-for-13) with one touchdown and no interceptions. He has not thrown a pick in three-straight games.

In his four wins as the starting quarterback, Hays has combined to throw for six touchdowns with no interceptions. In those wins, Utah is 13-for-14 in the red zone.

Conroy Black made his team-leading third and fourth interceptions of the season in the third quarter. He has five career interceptions. He returned his second interception 67 yards for his first career touchdown.

Brian Blechen led Utah with eight tackles. He also had a tackle for loss and a forced fumble.

Eric Rowe had a sack and two pass breakups to go along with four tackles.

UCLA was 0-for-2 in fourth-down conversions. Utah is holding opponents to 4-of-17 (23.5%) on fourth down.

Quinton Pedroza had his first career kick return for 23 yards.

Sean Sellwood dropped two of his four punts inside the 20-yard line, giving him nine inside the 20 for the season.

Attendance was 45,039, extending Utah's sellout streak to 11 games.
