Utah has dropped its fifth-straight game, the first time in Kyle Whittingham's career the Utes have dropped five-straight. It is Utah's longest losing streak since dropping six-straight in 2002.

Utah falls to 4-7, and has not had back-to-back losing seasons since 1989 (4-8) and 1990 (4-7). The Utes were 5-7 in 2012.

WSU was held to 90 yards rushing, the fourth time this season that Utah has held a team under 100 yards rushing.

Utah had two 50+ pass plays in the game, a 57-yard reception by Dres Anderson and a 64-yard reception by Jake Murphy. Utah now has 13 plays of 50+ yards this season, while Anderson has seven receptions of 50+ yards. The Utes entered the game tied for eighth in the country in 50+ scrimmage plays. Anderson entered the game second in the nation in receptions of 50+ yards.

Jake Murphy (102 yards) and Dres Anderson (129 yards) each had 100 yards receiving, the first time that Utah has had two 100-yard receivers in a game since Sept. 2, 2004 (Paris Warren and Steve Savoy).

Dres Anderson scored his team-leading eighth touchdown of the season in the second quarter on a three-yard reception. Anderson has seven receiving touchdowns this year.

Dres Anderson had his sixth 100-yard receiving game of the season with five catches for 129 yards.



Jake Murphy scored two touchdowns, an 11-yard TD in the third quarter and a career-long 64-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. He has four touchdowns this season. Murphy had his first career 100-yard game (five catches for 102 yards).

Kelvin York scored a pair of rushing touchdowns, a 14-yard TD in the first quarter and a two-yard score in the second quarter. York has four touchdowns this season. York had a career-high 94 yards rushing (25 carries).

Adam Schulz went 21-of-46 for a career-high 347 yards, including passes of 64, 57 and 47 yards. It was his first 300-yard game. He threw for three touchdowns and had two interceptions.

Andy Phillips made a 34-yard field goal in the third quarter. He is 16-for-19 (84.2%) on the year.

Tom Hackett dropped a punt at the five-yard line in the second quarter. He has nine punts inside the 10-yard line this season. Hackett had six punts for 236 yards (39.3) average, with one punt inside the 20-yard line and one punt of 50+ (55 yards).

Daniel Nielson blocked a PAT in the second quarter, his second blocked PAT of the season (also the team total).

Utah's defense, which entered the game leading the nation in sacks (36), was held without a sack for the first time this year. Its previous season low was one sack against Oregon State.

Utah recovered two fumbles and has 10 fumble recoveries this year.

Justin Thomas and Michael Walker led Utah with seven tackles each. It was a career high for Thomas.
