This was Utah's second overtime game this season. The Utes defeated Air Force, 23-16, on Oct. 24. The Utes are 4-4 all-time in overtime games and 2-4 on the road. In its last overtime road game, Utah defeated Brigham Young on Nov. 19, 2005, 41-34.

Eddie Wide has become the 11th player in Utah history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. He has 1,032 yards in 2009, which ranks ninth in a season by a Ute. He has 183 carries this season.

Wide also recorded his seventh 100-yard game with his 114 yards against BYU. He is tied for third for most 100-yard games in a season and is the first Ute to record seven 100-yard games in a season since Dameon Hunter in 2001.

Wide's 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter was his 12th rushing touchdown this season, which ties him for fourth all-time at Utah.

Jordan Wynn was 21-for-41 for 198 yards. With 991 passing yards in five appearances this season, Wynn needs nine more passing yards to reach 1,000.

Jordan Wynn was 6-for-6 with 87 yards in the first quarter and completed his first seven passes of the game for 98 yards.

Joe Phillips made a career-high five field goals, going 5-for-5 with makes from 21, 29, 31, 39 and 40 yards.

With his 66 receiving yards, David Reed moved into third in the school single-season records for receiving yards with 1,085. It is the most receiving yards by a Ute since 1989.

Reed moved into fourth in career receptions with his five-catch day against BYU. He now has 75 catches on the season.

Shaky Smithson had a 40-yard punt return, the longest for a Ute this season.

Aiona Key had a career-high 10 receptions for 85 yards.

Mike Wright led the Utes with 11 tackles, including a 1-yard tackle for loss. Stevenson Sylvester had eight tackles, including an 11-yard sack.

Four different Utes had sacks. Koa Misi had a sack for a six-yard loss. Misi now has 4.5 sacks this season while Christian Cox had a 10-yard sack and Kepa Gaison had one for 13 yards.

After going 3-for-3 today, the Utes are 14 for 14 in the red zone in their last four games.
