SALT LAKE CITY - Utah punt returner Shaky Smithson and offensive guard Caleb Schlauderaff have been named to the SI.com 2010 Midseason All-America team. Smithson was selected as the first-team punt returner, while Schlauderaff made SI's second team.

Smithson leads the nation in punt returns (23), punt return yards (555) and punt returns per game (3.83).The senior is the only player in the country with four 100-yard punt return games this year, and with six games remaining in the regular season, is just 236 yards shy of the NCAA single-season record for punt return yards (791). Smithson is Utah's first 500-yard punt returner for a single season.

Schlauderaff, a preseason all-conference selection, leads an offensive line that is tied for second in the nation in sacks allowed (2). He has won 293 of 328 plays for a team-high 89-percent overall grade. Schlauderaff has a team-high 11 pancake blocks, four cuts and has not allowed a sack while starting all six games.
