V.J. Fehoko is on the Pac-12 All-academic team for the second year.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--Utah placed four players on the first and second teams, and another 12 Utes were named honorable mention on the 2013 Pac-12 Conference Football All-Academic teams announced today.
To be eligible for selection to the Pac-12 academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
Junior offensive lineman Marc Pouvave (3.59 GPA/communication) and junior linebacker V.J. Fehoko (3.32 GPA/sociology) were Utah's first-team selections. Fehoko made the all-academic second team a year ago while this is Pouvave's first appearance.
Senior wide receiver Sean Fitzgerald (3.64/accounting), who is on the ballot for Academic All-America honors after making the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District team, was one of two Utes to make the Pac-12 all-academic second team. The other was senior defensive back Mike Honeycutt (3.20/communication).
Earning honorable mention honors were junior receiver Dres Anderson, senior receiver Anthony Denham, freshman defensive end Hunter Dimick, junior linebacker Jacoby Hale, freshman receiver Delshawn McClellon, sophomore linebacker Jared Norris, sophomore running back Bubba Poole, sophomore offensive lineman Jeremiah Poutasi, junior running back Lucky Radley, junior defensive back Eric Rowe, sophomore linebacker Jason Whittingham, sophomore quarterback Travis Wilson and senior running back Kelvin York. Honorable mention recipients were not limited to one per position, as was the case with the first and second teams.
