KAHUKU, Hawai'i - The University of Utah golf team currently remains in 15th after the second day of play at the John Burns Intercollegiate at the Palmer Golf Course at Turtle Bay Resort. Sophomore Brandon Kida was the low Ute for the second straight day, shooting a five-over 77.
Kida enters Friday's final round tied for 47th in the individual standings with a 152 (75-77).
Senior Joe Webber posted a second round 78, and enters the final round with a total of 155. Sophomore Gentry Hicks shot a 79 on Thursday to bring his two-round total to 159, while sophomore Jack Maerki carded an 81 on Thursday and heads into Friday with a 161 total. Junior Daniel Engle rounds out the score for the Utes with a 164 (80-84).
The final round will be played Friday at 7:30 a.m. HST.
