FRESNO, Calif. - The University of Utah golf team currently sits in 17th after two rounds of play at the Belmont Country Club. Utah posted team scores of 377 and 379, with five scores counting instead of the typical four.

Sophomore Gentry Hicks leads Utah with a four-over par 148. Hicks improved by four strokes from a 76 in round one to an even-par 72 in round two.

Junior Ben Bankhead trails Hicks with a 149 (71-78). Junior Daniel Engle carded a 151 (75-76), while sophomore Brandon Kida follows closely with a 153 (79-74). Senior Joe Webber posted a two-round total of 155 (76-79), while freshman Brent Pollock rounds out the leaderboard for the Utes with a 162 (80-82).

The final round of play will be completed on Tuesday, with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. PST.
