Casey Halliday birdied four holes during the first round of the Pac-12 Championships

MARANA, Ariz. - Utah golf concluded the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament this afternoon at the Gallery Golf Club in Marana, Ariz.
Casey Halliday leads the Utes and sits in a tie for 42nd overall after shooting 5-over. The senior from Salt Lake City birdied on three par-4's, holes No. 4, 8 and 14, and also birdied on a par-5 at hole No. 7.
Washington State's Michael Anderson leads the individual tournament at 2-over. He holds a one-stroke lead over four players; Alex McMahon and 28th-ranked Erik Oja of Arizona, No. 27 Trevor Simsby of Washington and the No. 1-ranked player in the nation, Stanford's Patrick Rodgers.
No. 3 Stanford leads the overall tournament at 2-over. It leads Arizona by four strokes with No. 4 California, No. 10 Washington and No. 17 UCLA within 10 strokes of the top spot.
