ERIE, Colo. - The University of Utah golf team wrapped up play at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational Tuesday at the Colorado Nation Golf Course. The squad posted a score of 907 (311-298-298) to tie for 10th, while Utes sophomore Jonathon Thomas and senior Daniel Engle finished in the top 20.

Thomas posted his lowest score during the third round to place 15th with a five-over-par 221 (77-74-70). Engle was not far behind, swinging a 224 (76-75-73) to tie for 20th. Sophomore Myles Sullivan scored a 233 (81-75-77) to tie for 64th, while junior Jack Maerki (77-81-78) and sophomore Brent Pollock (84-74-78) both tied for 72nd with a marks of 236.

Catch the Utes back in action in their only home tournament of the season at the Utah Invitational, Oct. 7-8, in Park City, Utah.
