SALT LAKE CITY- The University of Utah golf team heads to Eugene, Ore., to compete in the University of Oregon Duck Invitational, March 25-26. The tournament will be played at the par-72, 7,020-yard Eugene Country Club.
The first 36 holes of the tournament will be played on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. PST shotgun start, and the final 18 holes will be completed on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. PST.
The Utes will take to the greens with 13 other teams, including host school and defending champion Oregon, who won the title with a team score of 17-under par 847 (284-279-284). Other notable teams competing at the event include a pair of top-25 ranked teams, No. 4 Washington and No. 16 SMU.
Last Time Out
Junior Daniel Engle was the low Ute at the Sand Diego Classic, finishing tied for 25th with a six-over par 222 (75-72-75).
