SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah golf team is headed to Los Angeles, Calif., to compete in the 54th Annual Pac-12 Conference Championship, April 29-May 1. The four-round tournament will be played at the par-70, 7,236-yard Los Angeles Country Club.

Format
Four rounds of play will be counted, with the first two rounds being played on Monday, followed by the third round on Tuesday. The final 18 holes will be completed on Wednesday. Each day will begin with tee times at 8:00 am PST.

The Championship will feature a slightly larger field as six golfers from each school will compete with the top five individual scores from each round comprising the team score, rather than the standard five golfers per team with four scores being counted.

The Field
Utah faces a stiff test as five Pac-12 teams are ranked in the top 10 nationally, led by defending conference champions and No. 1-ranked California. The Golden Bears are joined in the top 10 by No. 4 Washington, No. 5 UCLA , No. 7 USC and No. 9 Stanford.

Last Time at the Pac-12 Championship
In 2012, Ute freshman Myles Sullivan tied for 27th and led the Utes with a nine-over par 293 (76-73-72-72). Sullivan has missed the 2012-13 season with an injury.

Last Time Out
The Utes made their fourth top-10 finish of the season, placing 7th of 24 at the Cowboy Classic in Scottsdale, Ariz., Apr. 8-9. Junior Daniel Engle was the low Ute and made numerous career-bests, tying for second with an on-par 140 (71-69).
