Junior Casey Halliday is set to compete in his fourth straight tournament with the Utes for the 2012-13 season

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah golf team heads to North Plains, Ore. to compete in the first ever Pac-12 Preview, October 8-9. The Utes will compete on the 7,017-yard, par-72 Witch Hollow golf course of Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club.
The first 36 holes of the 54-hole tournament will be played on Monday, beginning at 8:20 a.m. The final 18 holes will be completed on Tuesday, beginning at 8:20 a.m.
Every Pac-12 school will compete in the Preview, which will be hosted by Oregon State. Among them, five teams ranked in the top 25 nationally will appear on the greens including California (3), UCLA (4), Washington (5), USC (9) and Stanford (11).
Halliday is Top Ute Through First Three Tournaments
Junior Casey Halliday has performed well at all three tournaments this season. He has completed five of his 9 rounds of play at or below par, and he has earned career-low scores two tournaments in a row. The Utes started the season strong with a sixth-place finish at the Falcon Invitational, then followed with a 14th-place finish at the Simpson Invite and a 10th-place effort at the Tucker Invite.
