No. 3 UCLA Bruins
UCLA's roster is bolstered by five ranked individuals who are undefeated against conference opponents, including No. 1 Clay Thompson, No. 3 Marcos Giron, No. 21 Mackenzie McDonald, No. 62 Gage Brymer and No. 92 Karue Sell. Thompson and Giron have compiled a perfect 16-0 record between them at the No. 1 singles position. The Bruins are 61-13 in singles dual matches and 23-21 in doubles. Giron is ranked twice in doubles standings with partner McDonald in 13th and with Sell at No. 67.

Last Time against UCLA
The 75th-ranked Utes battled the second-ranked Bruins at the Los Angeles Tennis Center last season and were defeated 6-1. Despite the team loss, Slim Hamza was able to claim an individual victory and post Utah's solo point as he upset 19th-nationally-ranked Adrien Puget, 7-5, 6-4, at the No. 2 singles position.

 

 

No. 2 USC Trojans
The Trojans will face Arizona in Tucson before heading to Salt Lake City. USC boasts six ranked individuals who are undefeated against conference opponents, including No. 7 Ray Sarmiento, No. 17 Yannick Hanfmann, No. 46 Jonny Wang, No. 53 Roberto Quiroz, No. 94 Max de Vroome and No. 107 Michael Grant. Sarmiento and Hanfmann team up in the doubles rankings at No. 4 with a 12-1 dual-match record.

Last Time against USC
No. 75 Utah faced third-ranked USC at Marks Stadium last season and were defeated 5-2. Ben Tasevac and Cedric Willems each upset their opponents at the Nos. 5 and 6 singles positions to claim Utah's two points. Willems bested No. 87 Michael Grant at the fifth slot, 6-3, 7-5, while Tasevac turned in a victory over No. 104 Max de Vroome, 6-3, 7-6(4) from the sixth spot.

This weekend will be Utah's three seniors' final homestand. Senior captain Alejandro Medinilla is currently 10-7 in singles dual matches and 10-8 in doubles. Senior Devin Lane is currently undefeated in conference play and holds Utah's best dual-match singles record of 13-3, a 0.813 winning percentage, and is 12-5 in doubles. Senior Ben Tasevac, who earned his first ever Pac-12 Player of the Week honors in February, is currently 10-7 in singles dual matches and 10-5 in doubles.

Player of the Week
Junior Slim Hamza was named Pac-12 Player of the Week Tuesday for the second time in his career. He first received the honors in January of last year when he was ranked No. 52 in the nation. The Tunisia, Africa, native is 11-7 at the No. 1 singles position and 10-8 at the top doubles spot. He is also 3-3 against nationally-ranked opponents.
